Operation Rising Star expands eligibility, brings back live finals

Preliminary competitions to determine the Army's best vocalist are now underway at 47 installations, camps or forward operating bases across the globe - as the search for the Army's 2008 Rising Star is now underway.

The 2008 Operation Rising Star contest is open to all branches of Active Duty Military, Reserve, National Guard or their military family members 18 years and older*. Submit your application today at a participating MWR location near you.
*Military Family Members must have a sponsor that is Active Duty, Reserve or National Guard.
